AUSTIN ( -- With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and flu season just around the corner, Baylor Scott & White Health locations will be holding their annual Drive-Thru Flu Clinics this Saturday.

The clinics will offer flu shots while patients remain in their vehicles. Nurses will approach each vehicle to complete registration and administer the shots to eligible family members.

Clinic locations offering the drive-through service this Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. include Oak Hill, North Burnet Road, Buda, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Round Rock, and Taylor.

The North Burnet and Oak Hill locations will also offer a second drive-thru clinic on October 17.

New patients are welcome. Normal insurance co-pays apply; credit cards are also accepted, with the vaccine costing $33 out-of-pocket.

According to CDC recommendations, everyone over the age of six months should receive a flu shot, ideally between October and December.

More details on the drive-thru events can be found online at Baylor Scott & White's website.
