COVID-19 By The Numbers, July 11: 318 new cases, 2 new deaths in Travis County

AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Here are the latest coronavirus updates from local health officials across Central Texas, for July 11:

Travis County: 318 new cases were reported on Saturday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 14,622. 2 new deaths were reported, bringing the death toll in Travis County to 168. An estimated 11,074 cases have recovered, leaving 3,380 active cases - an increase of 34 from Friday's report.

435 patients are hospitalized across the five county metro area - a decrease of 3 from Friday. 134 are in intensive care and 87 are on ventilators.

73 new admissions were reported Saturday, bringing the 7-day moving average of new admissions increasing to 69.7.

Williamson County: 91 new cases were reported on Saturday, pushing the total number of confirmed cases to 3,745. One new death was reported Saturday for a total of 52. 103 patients remain hospitalized, with 32 in intensive care and 13 on ventilators.

Hays County: 33 new cases were reported on Saturday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,534. 2,868 of those cases are active - an increase of 33 from Friday - with 655 recoveries and 11 deaths. 20 patients remain hospitalized.

Bastrop County: No new data was received Saturday, with Friday's report showing 650 confirmed cases, 160 recoveries, and 8 deaths.

Caldwell County: 41 new cases were reported Saturday according to DSHS, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 645.

State of Texas: The state hit a new daily milestone of 10,351 cases Saturday, pushing the total number of cases to 250,462. 99 new deaths were reported, bringing the total number of fatalities to 3,112. 81 new hospitalizations were reported Saturday, bringing the total number of statewide hospitalizations to 10,083.
