AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Despite some rain-cooled temperatures across the Austin area on Saturday, the dog days of summer aren't ready to let go just yet.

A Heat Advisory will be in effect from noon until 8 p.m. Monday for all of Central Texas. The National Weather Service forecast calls for a high of 104 degrees; with the humidity factored in, heat index values are expected to reach above 110 degrees.

If you have to be outside in the heat of the afternoon, drink plenty of fluids and wear light-weight and loose fitting clothing. Make sure you know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, and take frequent breaks - preferably inside in air conditioning or in the shade.
