FORECAST: Mostly cloudy and cooler; gradual warming through next week

AUSTIN (KJCE) -- Clouds and noticeably cooler temperatures will round out the final weekend of SXSW this year - some 20 degrees lower than Thursday.

A passing cold front last night will keep temperatures below to near 60 in Austin, with mostly cloudy skies keeping the sun away. North winds will be gusting to 25 mph for much of the day, before weakening late this afternoon and evening. Lows will dip into the lower 40s, with upper 30s in the Hill Country.

Temperatures will gradually warm over the next 5 days, with highs breaking into the lower 70s by Wednesday.
