Hello, Fall: Cold front brings gusty winds, cooler Monday

AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- An overnight cold front has brought our first significant taste of fall-like weather for your Monday.

A Wind Advisory will be in effect until 1 p.m. Monday afternoon, with wind gusts into the 20-30 mph range, with some stronger 40+ wind gusts possible early Monday. Highs will stretch into the mid to upper 70s, with Austin reaching 76 degrees.

Overnight lows will drop into the 50s Tuesday morning, with parts of the Hill Country seeing the 40s.

TUESDAY...Sunny. Highs around 80. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

TUESDAY NIGHT...Clear. Lows in the mid 50s. Northwest winds 5 mph shifting to the west after midnight.

WEDNESDAY...Sunny. Highs in the mid 80s. Southwest winds 5 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT...Clear. Lows in the upper 50s. Highs in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT...Clear. Highs in the lower 80s. Lows in the upper 50s.

SATURDAY...Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 80s.

SATURDAY NIGHT...Clear. Lows in the lower 60s.

SUNDAY...Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 80s.
