LIVE OAK COUNTY, Texas (KJCE) -- A missing 12-year old girl that was the subject of an AMBER Alert Monday afternoon was found by herself in Laredo, officials said.

The Live Oak County Sheriff said its officers were searching for 12-year old Marisol Arroyo. According to the sheriff's office, Arroyo was last seen around 10 a.m. Sunday morning in George West, which is a little more than an hour south of San Antonio.

Corpus Christi television station KIII-TV reports that officials said the girl took the family vehicle all the way down U.S. Highway 59 to Laredo. Arroyo was spotted by authorities coming out of a restaurant; after running from officers, she was caught a short time later.

Authorities said this is the third time the girl has run away.
