One more day of rains from Beta before late week dryout

AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Rain bands from Tropical Storm Beta will give the Austin area one more day of solid rain chances, before a drying trend begins tomorrow.

Showers will continue off and on for much of the day Tuesday, with highs reaching into the lower 70s.

Rain chances will taper off into the overnight hours as Beta exits the area, with lows falling into the upper 60s.

Here's a look at the extended forecast:

WEDNESDAY...Mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 70s. North winds 10 to 15 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.

THURSDAY...Partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 80s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.

THURSDAY NIGHT...Clear. Lows around 60.

FRIDAY...Sunny. Highs in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY NIGHT...Clear. Lows in the mid 60s.

SATURDAY...Sunny. Highs in the upper 80s.

SATURDAY NIGHT...Clear. Lows in the upper 60s.

SUNDAY...Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 90s.

SUNDAY NIGHT...Clear. Lows in the mid 60s.

MONDAY...Sunny. Highs around 90.
