AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin Police have identified the victim of a deadly crash on the city's southeast side late last week.

Police say a 2010 red Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2014 silver Chevrolet Malibu were both traveling northbound in the 3500 block of Montopolis at a very high rate of speed just before 5:30 a.m. Friday morning. According to the investigation, the Tahoe struck the back of the Malibu, losing control and leaving the roadway. The Tahoe spun and continued across the parking lot of the nearby LCRA campus, striking a tree and coming to a stop by the loading dock of a building.
