AUSTIN (KJCE) -- Wednesday's morning commute is likely to be a soggy one, as a line of showers and thunderstorms moves through Central Texas.

Wind Advisory in effect for Travis, Williamson, Hays Counties until 8 AM Wednesday...

An upper-level low with a cold front will move through from west to east, starting to move through the I-35 corridor around 8 a.m. and continuing to push off to the east.

Portions of West Texas were under a Tornado Watch early Wednesday morning, but potential storms are expected to weaken as they move through the Hill Country. The Storm Prediction Center has the Austin area under a marginal risk for severe storms, with extreme western portions of Williamson, Travis, and Hays Counties and the Hill Country under a slight risk.

Strong winds and large hail are the biggest threats with this system as it moves through.
