AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Several Travis County parks were closed Sunday afternoon due to reaching capacity limits, officials said.

Pace Bend Park, Reimers Ranch Park, Arkansas Bend Park, and Mansfield Dam Park were all closed to new visitors by mid-afternoon Sunday. The same four parks were closed Saturday after reaching capacity limits.

Travis County says its parks are open for day-use only, to provide options for visitors to recreate in open space and trails.

Visitors to the parks are recommended to use face coverings and bring their own hand sanitizer. No groups of larger than five people are permitted.

More information is available at the Travis County Parks website.
