AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has removed air travel restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic, his office announced Thursday afternoon.

Air travelers entering the state from California, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Washington, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, and Miami had been required to self-quarantine for 14 days. Those restrictions are lifted as of Thursday.

Anyone who has traveled to the state and is currently in a self-imposed quarantine is also released, according to the new order.
