Travis County reports two COVID-19 deaths, 30 new cases

As of Saturday, 6 people have died and 460 have tested positive

AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Local health officials say two more people have died as a result of COVID-19, bringing the number of deaths in Travis County to six.

Officials with Austin Public Health said 30 additional positive cases were confirmed in the 24 hours leading up to 4 p.m. Saturday, bringing the total number of positive cases to 460.

The two new deaths, officials said, were a man in his 30s and a woman in her 50s.

As of Saturday afternoon, state officials were reporting 6,555 positive cases and 116 deaths.
