AUSTIN (KJCE) -- Travis County will make investments in a number of transportation and parks projects, after voters approved $185 million in bond proposals Tuesday night.

The proposals were split into two packages - transportation and road safety projects at $93.4 million, and a parks and open spaces proposal at $91.5 million.

Officials say an averge homeowner with a home valued at $305,173 will pay approximately $24 more per year.

Proposition A will include a number of road projects, including a extension of Harold Green Road from SH 130 to Austin Colony Boulevard, and an extension of South Pleasant Valley Road from FM 1373 to Bradshaw Road.

Proposition B includes $23.5 million for the Bee Creek Sports Complex - a new sports complex with synthetic turf fields, sports lighting, picnic areas, playgrounds, and other improvements. The package also includes $10.5 million for the Onion Creek Greenway, improvements to the Northeast Metro Park Soccer Fields, and conservation easements throughout the county.
