Original story below:

AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- As protests continue to paralyze Interstate 35 through downtown Austin, TxDOT is temporarily suspending tolls on some of its toll roads to give drivers a free detour around Austin.

Tolls are suspended until further notice on State Highway 130 from Georgetown to State Highway 45 SE, State Highway 45 North between State Highway 130 and Interstate 35, and all of State Highway 45 SE. The move will provide drivers the opportunity to take an eastern detour around the core of Austin.

Travel on Interstate 35 through the downtown area continues to see heavy delays as protests continue near Austin Police headquarters at 8th Street.
