Williamson County reports 5 new cases of COVID-19, now at 76

WILLIAMSON COUNTY (Talk1370.com) -- Williamson County officials say they've confirmed 5 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, pushing the county's total to 76.

According to data provided by the Williamson County and Cities Health District, three new cases were confirmed in Round Rock and two new cases were confirmed in Cedar Park. 26 of the 76 cases have recovered, with one death.

Here is the current breakdown of cases:

  • Austin addresses inside Williamson County - 9
  • Cedar Park - 11
  • Georgetown - 10
  • Hutto - 6
  • Leander - 10
  • Round Rock - 29
  • Other areas of the county (Liberty Hill, Jarrell, Taylor, unincorproated areas) - 1

The age breakdown of the cases:

  • 0 to 17 - 2
  • 18 to 40 - 18
  • 41 to 60 - 36
  • Over 60 - 20

Gender breakdown of the cases:

  • Male - 35
  • Female - 41
