Beautifully Loved is a nonprofit with a mission to love and care for families dealing with pediatric cancer and other childhood illnesses through experiences that promote wellness, beauty, and fashion.

Combining beauty, fashion, and wellness, Beautify Love is bringing the Dell Children’s Blood Cancer Center Fashion Show for its fourth year on Sunday February 25, 2018. On the program to speak about the event is Aysa Province, and Mayra Tellez.

Province, founder for Beautify loved described the inspiration for the event as a way to bring joy and lasting memories to the children, their parents, and siblings.

“One of the things we found is that they’re just trying to fight through,” said Province. “Our goal is to do it for this family without them asking – remind them that they’re seen, that they’re valued, that they’re beautiful, and they’re not alone – that’s our goal.”

Tellez, who is a partner with Beautify Loved, started with the CBCC event as a volunteer. Years later she describes the positive impact the fashion show has on the children, and teens, walking down the runway.

“It’s so empowering for them,” said Tellez. “The whole process. They get to choose their own outfits, they to rock the runway – they are actual models for the day.”

Tellez also said they not only get to experience the life of a model, but they also have the community cheering them on the entire way.
