July 24, 2018 - 4:18 pm

The Fifth Annual Austin Duck Derby is back on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The signature race will launch more 17,000 eco-friendly rubber ducks into Lady Bird Lake from the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Boys and Girls Club Foundation of the Austin Area. Michele Glaze, the Chief Development & Marketing Officer Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, joined the conversation to speak on how the Austin community can get involved in the event. The eco-friend rubber ducks are now up for adoption with prices starting at $5 for a single duck, $25 for a Quack Pack (six ducks), $50 for a Quackers Dozen (12 ducks), and $100 for a Flock of Ducks (25 ducks).
